The Belgorodenergo company reminded the population of the need to follow safety rules near energy facilities. Interference with the operation of power lines and substations should not be allowed. This can be deadly.

It is strictly forbidden to open doors and enter transformer substations. The equipment carries very high voltage. If citizens touch a live part, they will be exposed to electric current and receive injuries that are incompatible with life.

For the same reason, it is prohibited to climb onto power line supports or interfere with the operation of power equipment. Attacking wires and stealing non-ferrous metals can not only pose a threat to the health and life of Belgorod residents, but also cause fires and short circuits.

It is also important to know and remember the rule: approach the broken wires at a distance closer than 8-10 meters extremely dangerous. Around such a wire, a zone of “step voltage” appears, from which you should exit exclusively in a “goose” step, without lifting your feet from the ground and from each other.

You should also not ignore the warning signs: “Stop! Voltage!”, “Life threatening!”, “Danger! Keep out!”.
