In the Volgograd region, carriers of a dangerous infection were found on two farms at once. Restrictive measures were introduced on the territory of the settlement.

In the Ilovlinsky district, in the Shokhinsky farm on Prodolnaya Street, two farmsteads with animals infected with brucellosis were discovered. In the territory of epizootic outbreaks, it is prohibited to treat sick people, import and export animals, the exception is if infected people are taken for slaughter. Also, milk cannot be exported or used. If the animal has come into contact with a body of water, it cannot be used for 90 days.

It is worth noting that brucellosis is contagious to humans, as well as to all types of pets. The infection enters the body through contact with animals, insect bites and eating contaminated foods. The disease affects human organs and systems. Brucellosis can cause disability, but death from infection is unlikely. Even in the old days, in the absence of antibiotics, there were practically no deaths.

Most often, when a person becomes infected, the temperature rises and weakness appears. Symptoms of the disease can appear very different, since the infection affects almost all organs.

In sick animals, inflammation of the testicles with pus and necrosis is detected. Livestock infected with brucellosis cannot be treated and must be destroyed.
