The St. Petersburg project for the development of adaptive wakeboards won the “You’re in the Game” competition

The “Russia” exhibition hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the fourth season of the All-Russian competition of sports projects “You’re in the Game.” The organizer was the ANO “National Priorities”.

The St. Petersburg project Step2Wake won in the “Unlimited Possibilities” category. It is aimed at developing adaptive wakeboarding in Russia for people with musculoskeletal disorders, noted the office of Vice-Governor Boris Piotrovsky.

The team has been developing adaptive wakeboards since 2015. This sport combines elements of water skiing slalom, acrobatics and jumping. Introductory events and training sessions were held in different cities.
