The “Open Air Cinema” project from the Illusion cinema will light up its screens at city venues. Traditional film screenings have been delighting Astrakhan residents and guests of the region for more than 6 years. The new season starts on May 3 at 18:00 on Lenin Square. Artists, vocal and dance groups from the city will perform at the grand opening. The youngest spectators are welcome to visit Cheburashka.
For viewers over 6 years old, the feature film “Taste the Sun” from directors Yulia Lukshina and Sergei Lakhtin will be shown. Viewers will see open-air films every Friday throughout the summer in open areas of the city.
And for lovers of musical compositions, a new season of “Music on the Grass” starts. The festival, which is organized by the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theater, will take place on May 4, 9, 12, 18, 19 and 31. Venue: site on the theater grounds. There will be a recreation area with food courts, and an improvised auditorium will be located right on the grass.
