After the American Congress agreed on the allocation of new volumes of military assistance to Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have missiles at their disposal capable of hitting targets in Orel.
According to the Russian Weapons Telegram channel, some modifications of ATACMS missiles (MGM-140B and MGM-164) are capable of hitting objects at a distance of up to 300 kilometers. This creates threats not only for border regions, but also for regions more remote from Ukraine, including Oryol.
ATACMS missiles have already been used in the Northern Military District zone to attack Crimean targets. The first shelling caused serious damage to Russian military warehouses, but later the Russian Armed Forces successfully shot down Western missiles.
Previously, representatives of the Western political establishment announced a ban on the use of their ammunition within the borders of Russia in 1991. However, this practice has already been violated during numerous shellings of peaceful areas of the Belgorod region.
