Residents of the Murmansk region were told about the situation with ticks. One person sought medical help.

– As of April 23, 2024, one complaint was registered to a medical organization regarding a tick bite in the Stavropol Territory. The person who applied was provided with the necessary medical and preventive care, the regional Office of Rospotrebnadzor reported.

The agency reminds that the territory of the Murmansk region is not endemic for tick-borne viral encephalitis (TBE), but when traveling to other regions for vacation or work, residents of the region may be at risk of being bitten by ticks.
