In the south of the capital, apartments in new buildings are becoming more expensive the most, because New Moscow continues to grow and develop at a faster pace than other districts and districts of the metropolis, and construction there is proceeding more actively, the head of the real estate agency “Vysotsky Estate Fili-Mozhaisky”, a financial consultant, told RIAMO Sergey Makarov.
Earlier, the media wrote that since the beginning of the year, the average cost of supply of apartments in new buildings in Moscow has increased most noticeably in the Trinity District. At the end of April, the increase was 16.2%, and the supply budget increased to 9.8 million rubles.
“Housing in New Moscow is built mainly by major developers such as Samolet and PIK, who, due to their position, can dictate their terms on the market,” Makarov noted.
In his opinion, the gap between the prices of the most expensive and cheapest housing in the city will not decrease, since there is no reason to reduce the cost.
“People buying apartments in Moscow want to live in high-quality, decent housing and are willing to pay extra for it,” the realtor concluded.
