Ryazan. 25th of April. INTERFAX – The seventh gastronomic festival “Cuisines of the Ryazan Region” will be held in the regional center from May 1 to 31, the press service of the city administration reported on Thursday.

The festival will be attended by 16 restaurants and cafes, which have already developed special dishes made from local products.

“As part of the festival, residents and guests of the city will be able to try homemade vegetable caviar, royal fish soup according to the old Ryazan recipe, eclair with smoked catfish and porcini mushroom mousse with buckwheat popcorn and other original dishes,” the press service notes.

For the first time, the festival “Cuisine of the Ryazan Region” was held in May 2018, then 15 restaurants of Ryazan took part in it. Each participating restaurant presented a gastronomic set on the theme “Cuisine of the Ryazan Region”, based on regional products.

The festival aroused genuine interest and approval from both residents of Ryazan and guests of the city, and has been celebrated every year since then.
