“Bunches of wires” will be eliminated on Mukhina Street in Blagoveshchensk this year

At a press conference held on April 25 at the Amur Ministry of Transport, they spoke about the progress of the road repair campaign in Blagoveshchensk. Some objects began to be brought back to standard in early April. We are talking about contracts that were concluded for the implementation of projects last year. Thanks to this approach, the contractor was able to start work earlier. The repairs on Tenistaya Street are planned to be completed by the end of April, on Lenin – by May 9.

— We have a long-term contract for 2024-2026. This is the first time this has happened. The contractor has the opportunity to prepare in advance, knowing the scope of work. If the opportunity arises to complete the work ahead of schedule, he does so. This year the plan is to repair 50 Let Oktyabrya Street from Amurskaya to Oktyabrskaya, Teatralnaya from Lenin to Gorky, Lenin from Teatralnaya to Tchaikovsky. Next year there are plans to repair Gorky Street from Kalinin to Artilleriyskaya and Amurskaya from Tchaikovsky to Kuznechnaya, said Ivan Kuritsyn, Deputy Head of the Department of Investments and Regional Projects of the Ministry of Transport of the Amur Region.

This year Mukhina Street from Proletarskaya will be repaired before the move. Currently, experts are calculating the scope of work and funding. The contract is planned to be concluded in July.

— We decided that we will not build networks, but we will modernize storm sewers and remove wires underground. Quite an expensive story. We just have bunches hanging on poles. It is very difficult to find mutual understanding with the owners and get them to replace the old supports with new ones. However, such work is now being actively carried out on Lenin Street,” said the head of the regional Ministry of Transport, Alexander Zelenin, during a meeting with journalists.
