On April 25, after the rain, Tambov residents noticed unusual stains on their cars. Yellow-brown spots were also noticed on the window glass. Our neighbors from Lipetsk, Voronezh and Belgorod also found similar stains and stains.
It turned out that these were the consequences of a sandstorm from the Sahara, which the day before covered the south of Greece and several African countries.
The Phobos center reported this to the Meteovesti publication:
“Now the Russian Plain is on the periphery of a stormy whirlwind, and southern flows will carry Saharan sand further into our territory. So, today African dust will cover the Kuban, the Don region, all the Black Earth regions and even the north of the Central Federal District. When the rain dries, it will leave a yellowish coating on surfaces.”
