Starting Friday, April 26, a specially decorated Pobeda trolleybus will begin running along the streets of Ivanovo, the administration of the regional center reports.
“Starting tomorrow, a trolleybus decorated with holiday symbols will begin running along the city streets,” reported the IPT municipal unitary enterprise. “You can ride a themed trolleybus on city route 11.”
Employees of Ivanovo Passenger Transport annually decorate trolleybuses for all holidays, hold various competitions for passengers and work hard during all important city events.
“According to Ivanovo residents, trolleybuses remain the most popular and convenient means of transport. Compared to last year, the increase in total passenger transportation amounted to 300,000 people,” writes the press service of the mayor’s office.
As Izvestia.ru reported, from May 1, trolleybus fares in Ivanovo will increase in price by two rubles. The cost of travel and baggage transportation is set at 28 rubles. For pensioners with a preferential transport card, travel on trolleybuses will cost 18.76 rubles, and on buses and minibuses it will still cost only 12.73 rubles.
