Ukrainian ATACMS Block I/lA missiles can reach the Tula region

--

The regions of Russia falling within the ATACMS Block I/lA coverage area have been named. Details are reported in the Telegram channel “Russian weapons”.

The list included sectors of the Tula region, as well as neighboring Kaluga and Lipetsk regions. In addition, one of the “neighbors” in the red zone is the Oryol region. The list also includes Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, most of the territory of Crimea, Krasnodar.

Earlier, Kyiv received a “significant” number of long-range ATACMS missiles from the United States. Their dispatch was approved by Joe Biden in February, but this was not announced at the request of Ukraine. The Kremlin spoke about the possibility of creating a “sanitary zone” due to supplies to Kyiv.

– Taking into account the fact that in the coming weeks, individual missile brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will begin to receive not only a limited number of ATACMS in the MGM-140A version with a shorter range (165 km), but also modifications of the MGM-140B and MGM-164 (range up to 300 km ), then the list of potential targets may include Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh, Krasnodar, most of the territory of Crimea, as well as Krasnodar and sectors of the Lipetsk and Tula regions, channel experts report.

It is also emphasized that the object-zonal air defense and missile defense areas over these cities and regions should be reinforced with mixed anti-aircraft missile brigades based on the S-300V4.

In addition, on the indicated map, the range of the MGM-140A practically corresponds to the marked range of the upgraded ER-GMLRS missiles (150 km). It is noted that the error is 15 km.
