At the site of the Public Support Headquarters of the Samara Region, training seminars continue for participants in the United Russia personnel project and candidates for the preliminary vote.

The PolitStart project provides training and support for newcomers to politics, the project gives young people opportunities and clear support during election campaigns.

“It’s nice to know that there is significant interest in the electoral processes in the region, especially among the younger generation. And we, for our part, are trying in every possible way to support this interest. Today we will try to reflect some aspects of electoral law that, to one degree or another, need to be known future candidates,” said Yulia Avazbekova, head of the legal department of the Electoral Commission of the Samara Region.

Participants of “Politstart” examined in detail the system of electoral law in the region, the current election legislation, as well as the legal features of the formation of a package of documents for a candidate for deputy in elections to local government bodies. Particular attention was paid to the legal subtleties of election campaigning.

“I was interested in learning about the differences between majoritarian and mixed electoral systems. I have never delved into this issue in such detail,” shared a participant in the “Politstart” project.

Submitting applications for preliminary voting”United Russia“extended until May 8. Participants in the preliminary internal party selection can register on the personnel project website”Politicalstart“. Now 143 participants from the Samara region have registered to participate in the project.
For all project participants “PolitStart“Online training will be available on the website of the Higher Party School. There you can study lecture text and video materials from experienced sociologists and political scientists, and based on the results of writing the final test, the winners will be provided with a full-time educational module at the federal site of the High School in Moscow.
