A pensioner contacted the police department in the city of Murmansk. The woman said that after purchasing groceries, she left her wallet at the checkout. Returning to the store, she was unable to find her item.
Department employees took all necessary measures and managed to detain the suspect. He turned out to be a 54-year-old resident of Drovyanoy. The man admitted to what he had done and said that he spent the money and threw away his wallet.
The suspect paid for the damage.
– A criminal case has been initiated and is being investigated against a local resident. For what he did, the northerner can expect punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to two years, shared the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Murmansk region.
