In Tver, organizational and technical measures are being taken to prevent fires. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.
In spring, uncontrolled falling of debris and dry grass poses a huge danger to the green areas of the city, as well as nearby buildings and structures. Employees of district administrations, fire and rescue units and the Spasatel municipal municipality have already extinguished five landscape fires.
There are more than 20 parks, green areas and groves in Tver, the total area of which exceeds a thousand hectares. Utility workers regularly eliminate unauthorized waste and dead wood dumps and update information boards at the entrances to Berezovaya, Bobachevskaya, Komsomolskaya and Pervomaiskaya groves. There are monitoring groups in all areas of the city that regularly check the condition of natural areas and identify arsonists.
The Tver city administration has prepared a set of measures, the implementation of which will help prevent fires. Officials have developed and approved all the necessary documents, and also interact with enterprises and organizations of the city in eliminating incidents.
