A representative of one of the household appliances stores contacted the police in Murmansk. During the audit, the store discovered that expensive video cards were missing. The applicant estimated the damage at almost 100 thousand rubles.

Police interviewed possible eyewitnesses to the crime and seized traces of hands and shoes.
The police managed to quickly detain the suspect and take him to the police department.

“It turned out that in January of this year, in the evening, an attacker entered the store’s sales area. After looking around, he made sure that there was no one nearby, after which he grabbed several expensive video cards, hid them in a bag and hastily left the store, the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

The suspect turned out to be a 31-year-old, previously unconvicted, unemployed local resident. The man confessed and said that he decided to commit a crime due to the fact that he had been without a source of income for a long time. He sold the stolen property.

A criminal case has been initiated against a local resident. He faces up to 2 years in prison
