In one day, residents of the Tula region transferred almost 11 million rubles to scammers. The Ministry of Internal Affairs informs about this.

Four victims were convinced by unknown phone calls under the guise of bank employees to provide a code from an SMS to transfer funds to a “safe” account.

Using the code, scammers gained access to citizens’ funds.

You should also be vigilant when shopping online. A resident of Kimovsk transferred 46 thousand rubles to the scammers for concrete blocks, which he never received.

Currently, police are taking measures to identify the fraudsters and detain them.
