Dogs from the Dora shelter began to settle in a new place near Voronezh

The owner of the high-profile shelter “Dora” said that he moved some of his four-legged friends to a new shelter in the Novousmansky district. Information about this appeared on Yuri Shamarin’s personal page today, April 25.

Let us recall that initially the shelter was located in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Voronezh, but after regular complaints from local residents about the incessant barking and general discomfort due to the proximity to several hundred dogs, it was decided that the shelter would be moved outside the city – to a place where the animals would not disturb anyone, several kilometers from residential buildings.

The volunteers themselves also reacted positively to this move: the new site is larger, much larger and more comfortable, and caring residents of Voronezh note that the dogs have excellent amenities in the new territory, including new enclosures, kennels and a canteen.

Earlier, the governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, supported the initiative to open a new shelter in the Novousmansky district. It was reported that the entire infrastructure would be created at the new site and the necessary communications would be provided.

However, a man who is not indifferent to the fate of street cats and dogs turned to motorists in Voronezh and the region for help: four-legged friends need help moving to their new home.
