In Kaliningrad on the street. Narvskaya, 1 cat climbed a tall tree, sits on thin branches and cannot come down. A local resident and animal volunteer Lyudmila Samokhina told Klops about this.

The young man said on the phone that he lives in a neighboring house on the street. Narvskaya and watches the unfortunate animal for several hours. The young man called 112 and asked to speak to rescuers, but he was refused.

“They asked me what the problem was, I explained. They told me that my call was registered, but the Ministry of Emergency Situations does not provide assistance to animals and refused to connect me with rescuers or firefighters,” said a Kaliningrad resident.

The young man called volunteer Lyudmila Samokhina, who rescues cats. She spread the information to animal rescue groups, but volunteers most likely won’t be able to help the cat.

“There are thin branches and you can’t just climb, you need equipment, a fire escape. If the cat weakens now, it will fall, break or break its spine. If they are filming, you need to pull the fabric underneath so that it doesn’t fall to the ground,” says Lyudmila.

The editors contacted the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Kaliningrad Region with a request to provide assistance, but the department did not respond.

According to eyewitnesses, the cat fell while trying to get down from the tree.

“She landed normally, was stressed, rushed around the yard, looking for a place to hide. We decided to leave her so as not to scare her even more. There is food in the yard, we’ll try to find it tomorrow,” said a local resident.
