Tambov residents encountered an unusual phenomenon: sand from the Sahara

Today, April 25, residents of Tambov and nearby regions, such as Lipetsk, Voronezh and Belgorod regions, encountered an unusual phenomenon. After the rain, yellow-brown stains appeared on clothes, cars and window glass.

The source of these divorces turned out to be a sandstorm from the Sahara, which the day before engulfed southern Greece and a number of African countries.

Please note that such dust can cause difficulty breathing, coughing and eye irritation.

According to Meteovesti, the Russian Plain is on the periphery of the stormy storm, and southern flows continue to spread Saharan sand further into Russia.

Today, African dust will reach Kuban, the Don region and the Black Earth region, as well as the north of the Central Federal District. As the rain dries, a yellowish coating will remain on surfaces.
