The regional operator of the Novosibirsk region, MUP Spetsavtohozyaystvo, switches to an enhanced operating mode for the May holidays. According to statistics, May is the month with the highest level of waste generation.

“We have two periods when both equipment and people work to the limit – these are the New Year holidays and the May holidays“, explained the head of the department for organizing and controlling the removal of municipal solid waste (MSW) Olga Lyubenko. According to her, a large amount of garbage during the May holidays is a consequence of cleaning the city after winter: cleanup days are held in Novosibirsk, both in the city itself and in dacha communities. Last year, the volume of May waste increased by 13% or 121 thousand cubic meters compared to April. For the same reason, waste collection sites on the outskirts, near the exit from dacha communities and the private sector in Pervomaisky, Dzerzhinsky and Kalininsky districts, become the busiest, up to the formation of spontaneous landfills. Of course, they wouldn’t exist if dacha communities had timely concluded contracts for the removal of MSW, but for now the relocation operator is forced to take into account this feature of the city.
Therefore, specialists prepare the work of the enterprise in advance: a duty schedule for the May holidays has been drawn up, preventive repairs of special equipment are carried out, and the load is redistributed along routes. Shifts at landfills are increased, reserve equipment is deployed, and additional maps are laid out (areas of landfills where waste is buried). Dispatchers will also work with increased workload, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. So, if the tank is overfilled, and there is still a long way to go before the garbage collection is scheduled, you can leave a request for waste removal by calling the Spetsavtohozyaystva dispatch service: 363-04-22. Virtual reception also works in Group organizations on social networks, where you can contact them with any questions related to the transportation of MSW. It is most effective to send an alarm signal in private messages.
