The Tselinny District Court (Kurgan Region) sentenced to restriction of liberty the driver of a bus in which three passengers suffered serious injuries due to an accident. This is stated in court documents.
“The court found the bus driver from the village of Tselinnoye guilty of violating traffic rules, which caused three passengers to suffer serious harm to their health. The man was sentenced to two years of restriction of freedom with deprivation of rights for one year,” stated in the materials published on the court’s website.
The driver admitted partial guilt and filed an appeal. The court’s verdict has not entered into legal force, as noted on the website of the Tselinny District Court.
Previously, the prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case due to an accident on the Kurgan-Tselinnoye highway, as a result of which a passenger bus with children flew into a ditch. The injured children were brought to hospitals in Kurgan after the accident.
