In the Ivanovo region they said goodbye to the special operation participant Viktor Smirnov

In the Ivanovo region, Viktor Andreevich Smirnov, a participant in a special military operation, was seen off on his last journey. He served on the territory of the Ivanovo garrison as a gunner-operator of a parachute platoon.

For courage and heroism, Viktor Smirnov was posthumously nominated for the Order of Courage.

Governor Stanislav Voskresensky expressed condolences to the hero’s family and instructed to provide all necessary assistance.
