“I saw how townspeople, young people, students are able to unite, act together, work fruitfully for the benefit of their small Motherland. These days were indicative. I felt so proud of the youth of Kurgan and Russia! I decided to write a poem. There was a feeling that someone was dictating the lines, and that’s how a poem about our people was born.
