Irkutsk will receive 1.5 billion rubles for road repairs – Irkutsk Today

In 2024, the amount of funding for road surface repairs in Irkutsk within the framework of the national project “BKD” will increase to 1.5 billion rubles from the regional budget, which is 400 million rubles more than previously planned funds. Taking into account co-financing from the local budget, the total amount for these purposes will be 2.3 billion rubles.

The city is currently assessing additional facilities that are planned to be included in the project. Initially, it was planned to repair 18 sections of city roads. The governor listed the following as priority objects:

• reconstruction of the Lermontov interchange;
• arrangement of entrances to the city from the village of Khomutovo on the Kachugsky tract and from the city of Shelekhov;
• redevelopment of access roads and parking areas at the airport forecourt.
