At the All-Russian conference in Moscow, the governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, spoke about how the region is addressing the issue of demography.
““Plus one child in every family” – we developed this formula in the Lipetsk region to solve demographic problems,” noted Igor Artamonov.
Today, more than 17 thousand large families live in the region. Moreover, over the past 10 years their number has more than doubled. This was also facilitated by various support measures.
“Including regional maternity capital. We build and repair schools and kindergartens. Our know-how is the Patronage digital platform. Both expectant mothers and large families are connected to it – information about support measures, assistance in solving housing and communal services issues and family problems are available in a chatbot on mobile phones,” the governor said.
Igor Artamonov also expressed gratitude to the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Central Federal District, Igor Olegovich Shchegolev, who recommended the experience of the Lipetsk region for implementation throughout Russia.
The Ministry of Labor noted the Lipetsk region among three subjects where the birth rate has increased. The growth is small so far, but the trend is optimistic.
The upcoming launch of the “Family” national project, announced by President Vladimir Putin, may also help solve the demographic problem.
