A 38-year-old man beat a helpless woman to death.

In the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd Region, a local resident in a drunken stupor killed his 34-year-old partner, who had the first group of disabilities. The reason for the anger was jealousy on the part of the Volzhan resident.

“In a fit of anger, he began to beat the woman, who was helpless due to an existing illness,” – said the prosecutor’s office of the Volgograd region.

The woman later died from her injuries.

The attacker fully admitted his guilt.

The prosecutor’s office examined the materials of the criminal case and considered the collected evidence sufficient to confirm a guilty verdict. A criminal case involving the death of a disabled woman has been sent to court.

The accused will remain in pre-trial detention while awaiting trial. He faces imprisonment for up to 15 years (Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
