In Murmansk, 15 employees of the regional emergency medical care station were awarded with thanks and certificates of honor from the governor and the regional Ministry of Health. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Health.

The presentation of the awards took place on the eve of Ambulance Worker Day, which is celebrated on April 28.

Currently, the emergency medical service station consists of 10 substations and 16 posts located in remote settlements of the Murmansk region. In all 23 settlements, at substations, posts, and administrative buildings, a local computer network (LAN) has been organized, uniting the medical institution into a single information space. Access to remote sites is organized on the basis of a secure computer network of the Ministry of Health of the Murmansk Region.

– Now our regional ambulance station is a fairly large and, most importantly, friendly team – more than 1,100 employees, including 55 doctors, about 600 medical personnel and almost 300 drivers. The Murmansk regional ambulance station is equipped with 213 ambulances, including 40 ambulances. Over the past 5 years, we have replaced 158 cars,” said the region’s Health Minister Dmitry Panychev.

The head of the department thanked the ambulance staff of the Murmansk region for their daily and noble work.
