Representatives of the BRICS Security Councils will hold a meeting in St. Petersburg

Representatives of security councils from the BRICS countries will meet in St. Petersburg in the fall. This was announced by Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev following the results of the international conference.

“We are presiding over BRICS this year. More than 200 events are planned that our country will hold. We will also hold a meeting on security councils. We will also hold this event in St. Petersburg in September,” Patrushev added.

The day before, representatives of 106 countries arrived in the Northern capital for an international meeting of high representatives in charge of security issues. The delegations held round tables and discussions in a bilateral format.
