In the public page “PE Omsk” a message appeared from local residents about the demolition of young trees on the reconstructed Architects Boulevard.

“This is the price they pay to build a new road. I don’t care about the trees that people planted. Some kind of nightmare. Well, really it was impossible to dig it up with the same tractor. People would transplant”is written in the message.

Also attached to the post is a video of a backhoe demolishing trees.

The Omsk administration responded in the comments to the post. The press service reported that the removal of trees is provided as part of the reconstruction of the road.

“The work to remove plants that fall into the construction and installation work zone has been approved by the city commission for demolition, pruning and restoration of green spaces. However, a decision has now been made to transplant these trees to other areas. In the near future, the issue will be worked out together with the contractor, specialists from the Kirov District and local residents.”says the answer.

It is noted that as part of the landscaping of the area along the entire Boulevard of Architects, it is planned to plant more than 6,000 shrubs and large trees.
