Residents of the Chelyabinsk region began to take their pets abroad by a third less. Statistics in the Ural Interregional Department of Rosselkhoznadzor were analyzed from January to April 24, comparing the indicator with the level of 2023.

“In the first four months of 2024, the department certified 65 small domestic animals for export abroad. This is about a third less than for the same period in 2023, when 91 animals were registered,” the department’s press service told URA.RU.

Over the entire past year, the total number of completed veterinary documents reached 328. This spring, pets went on a trip with their owners from the international airport of Chelyabinsk to Turkey, Italy, Spain, the USA, Israel, Albania, Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Germany, Georgia, Portugal, Serbia , Vietnam, UAE, Lithuania, Bulgaria.

Rosselkhoznadzor specialists reminded animal owners of the need to familiarize themselves in advance with the transportation rules and veterinary requirements of the destination country. These requirements may vary by country. To obtain a veterinary certificate for the export of pets abroad, you must submit an electronic application through the Ecert information system.

Before your trip, you must visit the animal disease control station. The state veterinarian will examine the pet, making the appropriate notes in the documents. When applying online for permits and appointments, owners can enter information about vaccinations, pest control treatments, and upcoming travel. You can fill out the form on the Rosselkhoznadzor website.
