The national judo championship among juniors and juniors under 23 has ended in Krasnoyarsk.

More than 500 athletes from 62 regions of the Russian Federation took part in the competition.

A graduate of the Judo Center, a student of the Olympic Reserve School, Matvey Lityagin, successfully performed on the tatami. The Orenburg resident won a bronze medal in the weight category over 100 kg.

Matvey trains under the guidance of Evgeniy Palkin.

It is worth noting that following the results of the championship, the Orenburg judoka joined the Russian junior team.
