The state prosecutor of the prosecutor’s office of the Station District of Tula supported in court the prosecution in a criminal case against a 28-year-old resident of the region. He was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous harm to health, dangerous to human life, resulting in the death of the victim through negligence).

Taking into account the evidence presented by the prosecutor in court, it was established that on the evening of June 15, 2023, a resident of Tula, while visiting his mother, during a verbal conflict with her guest, caused by the latter’s courtship of a woman, beat the man on the head. The 52-year-old victim died from his injuries on June 16, 2023 in the hospital.

The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the defendant to 8 years in prison to be served in a maximum security correctional colony.
The verdict did not enter into legal force.
