An accident occurred in the city of Lermontov, Stavropol Territory, in which a resident of Omsk became a participant. According to the traffic police, a 31-year-old Omsk woman was driving a Toyota Vitz when she hit a 13-year-old teenager on an electric scooter.

It turned out that the student decided to cross the road at a pedestrian crossing, but did not get off the scooter. As a result, the boy was taken to the hospital with a head injury and bruises.

“It turned out that the parents purchased the personal mobility device for the child, but, obviously, the rules for moving it were not explained.”said the traffic police.

The woman who hit the schoolboy has been prosecuted eight times for traffic violations over the past two years. Most of these cases are for speeding violations.

Please note that this is not the first time an accident involving an electric scooter has occurred. In early April, an accident occurred on the Omsk Left Bank in which a car hit two young people on the same scooter.

The opposite incident occurred in the village of Znamenskoye, where an 11-year-old boy on an electric scooter hit a 74-year-old pensioner.

Will be blocked forever: Omsk residents will no longer be able to ride electric scooters together
