At the initiative of the regional branch of DOSAAF, the Russian Society “Peresvet”, a military-patriotic event “From the Heroes of Old Times” was held, designed to raise the level of awareness about military affairs and the people defending the Fatherland.

More than 200 adults and children took part in it: young participants of patriotic social movements, cadets, veterans, representatives of public organizations, gas producers.
Participants of the event were told about weapons handling skills and tactical medicine. The organizers showed how the uniforms of soldiers changed from the Red to the Russian armies. The exhibition featured samples of weapons and robotics. Information about modern means and systems used on the battlefield aroused great interest.

“The instructors, drawing on their own combat and professional experience, provided detailed information about various areas of military affairs and answered our questions“,” noted Dmitry Ivanchenkov, engineer of the logistics and procurement department of Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg LLC.
