NTV starts a series filmed in Kaluga

--

On April 29, the federal channel begins the series “Emelya,” which was filmed in the regional center in 2023.

Over the course of 16 episodes, viewers will follow the adventures of Captain Emelin. He is distinguished by observation, unconventional thinking and a quick search for criminals.

They worked on the project from March to July last year. A police station was built in one of the buildings of the plant, located on Grabtsevskoye Highway. Location shooting took place throughout the city. The group worked especially hard on the Right Bank.

Regional producer of “Emelya” Olga Dikareva recalled how they worked on one of the stunt scenes:

Actor Oleg Gaas, who played Captain Emelin, pursued a schoolboy who stole reagents from the chemistry classroom. According to the scenario, a juvenile criminal jumps into a trolleybus, and the policeman manages to cling to the ladder along which the drivers climb to the roof of the car. It was on Victory Square. The trolleybus for filming was provided by UKT. Take after take, the “horned” one drove away from the stop and taxied out of the roundabout onto Kirov Street. The violation of traffic rules was noticed by a vigilant traffic police crew passing by. Inspectors stopped the trolleybus and removed the actor from the stairs. Having sorted it out, they let me go with the words: “Everything about you, filmmakers, is not like people!”

You can follow the adventures of the policeman and his colleagues from April 29 to May 3. The director of the series is Miroslav Malic. Oleg Gaas was accompanied by actors Alexander Palchikov (Corporal Kabanov in “Soldiers”), Stepan Abramov (Sergeant Stepanets in the series “According to the Laws of Wartime-6”), Ekaterina Kozhemyakina (Nina in “Detective for a Million”).
