Today Tambov residents are invited to write a Victory dictation. One of the sites will be the Stromov Center on Ryleeva. Today at 11 o’clock at the Museum and Exhibition Center they will present the book “Battle of Kursk: a feat for centuries“, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the battle. Great emphasis is placed on the participation of more than 50 thousand Tambov residents in this battle. The entire circulation of the new edition will go to libraries in the region.
Today at the regional art gallery at 15.00 an exhibition of works by contemporary Tambov icon painters will open. Visitors will be able to see about 40 icons. They were painted in compliance with the ancient canonical icon-painting traditions, and in the so-called Tambov icon-painting manner.
