The inauguration of Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev began in Novosibirsk

In the State Concert Hall. A.M. Kats in Novosibirsk at 12:00 on Friday, April 26, the inauguration procedure for the new mayor Maxim Kurdyavtsev began. According to a BFM-Novosibirsk correspondent, more than 900 people were invited to the ceremony – this is the maximum capacity of the concert hall.

Among those gathered were members of the regional government, representatives of the mayor’s office, the clergy and the deputy corps, leaders of the SB RAS, the business community, and public organizations.

To ensure the security of the ceremony, serious measures have been taken: police officers are on duty, entry to the building is carried out with passes, access to paid parking on Krasny Prospekt near the regional government and the Philharmonic is limited.

The procedure for taking office has not undergone major changes. The elected mayor must take an oath on the charter of Novosibirsk.

Let us remind you that Maxim Kudryavtsev was elected mayor of Novosibirsk on April 16 at the 34th session of the city council of deputies. 40 out of 45 parliamentarians present voted for him.
