Cold temperatures are expected in the Saratov region on the May weekend.

According to the deputy head of the regional Hydrometeorological Center, days with dry and warm weather will alternate with rainy days.

On April 27-29 in the region at night it will be +12…+17 degrees, during the day – up to +29. In Saratov, +12…+14 degrees at night and +25…+27 during the day are predicted. The wind will blow from the south at 3-8 m/s with gusts up to 12-16 m/s. No precipitation is expected on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, April 29, an atmospheric front will arrive in the region, bringing with it showers.

Heavy rains with localized thunderstorms and squally winds will be felt especially strongly on Tuesday, April 30, when the wind changes direction to the north and cold temperatures set in. During the day up to +14…+19 degrees, at night the thermometers will drop to +2. In Saratov at night it will be +4…+6 degrees, during the day – +16…+18.

There will be no precipitation on May 1. During the day on Thursday, May 2, precipitation will return and temperatures will drop. Frosts are likely at night and in the morning of May 3-5. However, during the day the air will warm up to +15…+20 degrees.

Despite the cool weather and precipitation, a Class 4 fire danger remains in the region. In some places there is a fire danger class of 1-3.
