After taking the oath, the new mayor was presented with a mayor’s certificate.
Then the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, Andrei Travnikov, took the stage. He said that the mayor went through a serious selection process, won the competition, and now faces serious challenges. Travnikov wished Kudryavtsev that in addition to the respect from his colleagues, the respect of the townspeople would be added. He also wished the formation of a good team as soon as possible.
After the governor, the chief federal inspector for the Novosibirsk region Nikolai Buimov, the first vice-speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the region Andrei Panferov, as well as Metropolitan Nikodim of Novosibirsk and Berdsk spoke – he presented the mayor with an icon. All speakers spoke of the hope that under the new mayor the city would become cleaner, greener and more convenient.
At the end of the ceremony, Maxim Kudryavtsev came up to the microphone again.
