Tula paratroopers destroyed a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry in one of the areas in the DPR. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“A reconnaissance group of the “winged infantry”, using a UAV, discovered a stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with personnel hiding in it in one of the areas in the DPR,” the ministry reports.

The command of the Southern Group of Forces sent an armored group on fourth-generation BMD-4M airborne combat vehicles of the Guards Parachute Regiment of the Tula Guards Airborne Forces to destroy the enemy.

At night, together with mobile security groups with electronic warfare equipment, anti-drone rifles and small arms, the armored group quickly headed to the area where the enemy was spotted. As a result, using 100-mm cannons they suppressed the enemy’s defensive positions and destroyed squads of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel.

After completing the task, the armored group left for a safe area.

The work of the armored group is usually carried out at night. This ensures surprise of actions and eliminates damage to military equipment and personnel by air attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
