Bastrykin awarded Natalya Troshina, an employee of the Saratov Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin awarded the award to the senior assistant to the head of the investigation department for the Saratov region Natalya Troshina. The ceremony took place during a meeting on current issues in the work of territorial investigative units for interaction with the media.

The head of the department emphasized that the results of work on interaction with the media and the public seriously influence the formation of public opinion about the law enforcement system.

Bastrykin reminded that the assistants’ task is to identify the problem in a timely manner, draw the manager’s attention to it, and jointly take effective measures to solve it at the local level, without waiting for negative materials in the public space at the federal level.

Among the significant areas requiring a prompt response, the head of the department named crimes in the migration sphere, situations related to juvenile delinquency, violations of the rights of socially vulnerable categories of citizens, problems of providing housing for orphans and relocating citizens from dilapidated and emergency housing.

According to him, the need for the investigation to respond to problems of a social nature is often due to the inaction of responsible officials who do not fulfill their direct duties.

At the end of the meeting, awards were given to employees who showed activity and conscientiousness in the performance of their official duties.
