The Children’s Railway in Chelyabinsk opens its anniversary season.
As the press service of the Southern Railway reported to RIA Novy Den, on May 1, the Chelyabinsk Children’s Railway, located in the Gagarin Central Park of Culture and Culture, will begin the 75th anniversary summer season of passenger transportation.
The first flight will take place at 10:26 local time from Solnechnaya station.
“This year, more than 800 young railway workers will undergo practical training at the Chelyabinsk Children’s Railway. Before starting passenger transportation, children received theoretical knowledge about the professions of railway transport: organizing train traffic, the work of locomotive and carriage facilities, track facilities, communications, centralization and blocking; completed theoretical courses on safety precautions while on railway tracks and labor protection. The guys will try themselves as diesel locomotive drivers, station attendants, conductors and foreman of a passenger car, car inspectors, auditors, announcers and other railway professions,” said representatives of Russian Railways.
On the Chelyabinsk Children’s Railway, two trains will be used to serve passengers: “Yuzhnouralets” and “Yunost”, two diesel locomotives of the TU-7A series.
