The police neutralized the young Lipetsk resident, who not only suffered from kleptomania, but simply loved to live “for free.”

According to the Information and Public Relations Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Lipetsk Region, the attacker was brought to light by employees of the Department for Investigation of Crimes against Persons and Against Property of the Investigation Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Lipetsk.

It is noteworthy that this citizen faces a short sentence – only up to two years in the camps. It is quite possible that it will be conditional.

The insatiable guy stole the simplest food items. The total cost of damage exceeded 52 thousand rubles.

What could be stolen from the shelves for this amount, the police clarifies.

So, during his 16 trips to stores, the young man stole:

– about 60 packages of cheese and sausage products, more than 70 packages of butter, over 70 packages of coffee and more than 190 types of chocolate products, alcohol.

“The young man put the stolen goods in his backpack or hid them under his clothes, after which, bypassing the cash register areas, he freely left the store’s trading floors,” said the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Now the accused, a lover of chocolate products, will tell the Oktyabrsky court about the details of his adventures.

Let’s hope that after the verdict he will become at least a little more modest.
