The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, took under personal control the issue of resettling Tula residents from a dilapidated house on Richard Sorge Street in the regional center.

In particular, the head of the RF IC instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Tula Region, Vladimir Usov, to report on an investigation into the long-term non-resettlement of residents from a dilapidated building in Tula. As far as we know, an apartment building in Tula, located on Richard Sorge Street, was declared unsafe back in 2008. However, until now, the residents have not been resettled for more than 16 years. Residents of the house have repeatedly written appeals to supervisory authorities regarding their situation, but no one did anything.

Based on this fact, the investigative bodies of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Tula Region are currently conducting an investigation on the grounds of a crime under Art. 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence).
