At the time of the accident, the children in the kindergarten adjacent to the construction site were out for a walk. On Zaozernaya Street in the Chistaya Sloboda residential area in Novosibirsk, an accident occurred on a tower crane near the Kaleidoscope kindergarten. This was reported by eyewitnesses on the Telegram channel “Our House Sloboda”.
The emergency occurred on April 25, 2024 at about six o’clock in the evening. It is known that a multi-storey building is being built next to the kindergarten. As a local resident reported, during construction work, the safety of such work was violated, as a result of which a crane boom fell onto the territory adjacent to the kindergarten.
“The cables broke because glass fell from a house under construction and landed on the cables, which probably broke because of this. After the cables broke, the boom fell. In addition, at the moment the boom fell, the crane was lifting a load – it also fell. Everything fell on the construction site“- says the frightened woman.

“I was just picking up my daughter from kindergarten, the children were terribly scared, the noise was terrible, one of the children even cried“,” one of the subscribers shares his impressions.
The prosecutor’s office has already begun checking the incident.
Earlier, Vesti Novosibirsk reported that in Novosibirsk the property of the accused in the case of the construction of a kindergarten was seized.
According to law enforcement officers, the attackers did not complete the construction work in full and received over 48 million rubles on the basis of fictitious documents.
