A new radio station “Pride” has appeared in Tula

On April 1, in Tula, on a frequency of 89.2 FM, the patriotic radio station “Radio “Pride” (12+) began broadcasting. Its director, Konstantin Terekhov, said at a press conference held on April 25 in Tula that it was created in February of this year with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. At first the radio worked on the Internet, and now it has come out on FM frequencies. Tula became one of the first cities in which broadcasting was launched.

“Tula is known almost all over the world. No one doubts that this is an iconic Russian city. This is very important for us as a radio station. Tula people are very active people. And we do not make a background radio station for listening at lower than average volumes. We want our radio to be loud. And I am sure that this will happen in the Tula region,” noted Konstantin Terekhov.

The basis of the musical part of the radio station’s airwaves was modern domestic music, patriotic songs, Soviet classics and Russian rock from the 90s to the present day. Konstantin Terekhov expressed gratitude to the government of the Tula region and the Media Trust Group of Companies for their support in organizing broadcasting in the region.

“The government of the Tula region is committed to ensuring that the media in the region develop, there are more of them, and they produce high-quality content. Radio “Pride” will allow you to listen to soulful, patriotic music about our country. This is exactly what we need now to take our minds off our problems and think about the good. I hope that Tula residents will also learn about important news through this radio station,” emphasized Evgeniy Krasilnikov, chairman of the region’s press and mass communications committee.

““Pride” is a new word in radio broadcasting throughout the country. Good content, news, there are a lot of young performers, and they also talk about people that every Russian should be proud of. “Media Trust” acts as the general partner of the station not only in Tula, but also in Tyumen and Kaliningrad. The guys who make this radio are amazing. They open branches very quickly, and it’s a pleasure to work with them,” added Vladimir Shemyakin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Media Trust Group of Companies.

During the press conference, singer Mara performed for those present. She performed several of her songs, which, among other things, had already been heard by military personnel on the front line.

“The creation of such a radio station is very important, because people have long had a need and desire to listen to the events that are happening now. In many families, husbands, fathers, sons and brothers are on the front lines. It is important for them to listen to songs that reflect their state. A radio that plays compositions charged with patriotism, movement forward, and love for the Motherland is necessary. Therefore, it’s good that such a radio station has appeared with the powerful and bright name “Pride,” the performer noted.
