It is dedicated to the memory of Terenty Maltsev

The Kurgan cycling club invites citizens to take part in a bike ride dedicated to the memory of the outstanding breeder and innovator, twice Hero of Socialist Labor Terenty Semenovich Maltsev. It will take place on April 30 as part of the project “From Museum to Museum with Velokurgan”.

According to the press service of the city administration, the start is at 9:00 from the monument to Maltsev in the Zaozerny residential area. The finish line is in the small homeland of the outstanding fellow countryman, in the village of Maltsevo, Shadrinsky district, where participants will be given an excursion to the House-Museum of T.S. Maltseva and overnight stay.

Those who are not sure whether they can handle a long distance can go to Shadrinsk by train, where both groups will meet and ride bicycles to the village of Maltsevo. They plan to return to Kurgan by train on May 1st.
