TOS activists will begin celebrating Victory Day from May 6. A total of 115 events will be held. There will be large celebrations with brass bands, cadet guards, master classes and competitions of children’s drawings on asphalt for 1,500 guests and intimate ones in a narrow circle of neighbors, the press center of the mayor’s office reported.

Social activists have already put 56 memorial places in order and are preparing congratulations for the participants of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers.
On May 6 at 17:00 four TOS will join forces in Troitsky Park. A festive concert, a “St. George’s Ribbon” event, distribution of homemade children’s cards to veterans, a master class on making paper doves and a field kitchen are planned.
On May 7 at 17:00, the “Victory Spring” holiday will be held for residents of the Kirovsky district on Komsomolskaya Street, 31. The program includes creative performances, the “White Cranes” event, sports games, military-patriotic training lessons, an exhibition of vintage cars and photographs of WWII participants. The organizers intend to gather more than 300 people.
On the same day at 12:00, the regional festival “We Remember the Deeds of Heroes” will take place in Zakamensky Park.
On May 8 at 18:00 TOS “Kalinka” is planning a holiday “Happy Victory Day!” with a concert by the brass band of the Siberian Military District and the action “George Ribbon” Children from school No. 207 will stand cadet guard at each Katyusha, BT-7 tank, ZIS-3 gun and foundation stone with capsules for descendants. Students from secondary school No. 203 will give veterans their drawings, souvenirs and triangle letters. The guys will release balloons and bring flowers to the Military Glory memorials. The little ones will draw the spring of Victory on the asphalt with chalk.
On April 27, a series of events called “Victory Quarter” starts in Novosibirsk.
