The head of Saratov, Lada Mokrousova, continues to report to deputies of the Saratov City Duma at the 50th regular meeting.
The OM correspondent, who was in the meeting room, noted that not everyone listens to the mayor attentively. So, one of those present was looking at construction household equipment on his phone. Regional Duma deputy Roman Chuichenko stood up after some time and left the hall. City deputy Dmitry Kudinov, on the contrary, was late; later he apologized to everyone.
Mokrousova’s microphone didn’t work at first. After some time, it was completely turned off, after which City Duma Speaker Sergei Ovsyannikov asked the technical service to turn it on again.
However, the report continues. Thus, Mokrousova stated that in 2024 two schools will be overhauled, and the territory will be asphalted with 27 schools. It is planned to gradually modernize all libraries in Saratov.
“1 billion rubles will be spent on repairing courtyards. This will make it possible to improve 196 courtyard areas. Asphalt paving, repair of entrance areas and sidewalks will be provided. The issue of installing children’s playgrounds will be addressed separately.”– she said.
As for the resettlement of citizens from dilapidated houses, 891 premises were purchased for them in 2023. In 2024, 5,551 emergency workers will be relocated from 2,500 apartments.
“Last year, 73 houses were demolished. In 2024, the goal is to demolish all dilapidated houses that have been cleared of residents, and use these sites for the construction of new houses or as recreational areas.”– said Mokrousova.
